Brother Odd by Dean Koontz (2008, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

BROTHER ODD is the third in a series of Dean Koontz novels featuring Odd Thomas, an interesting, witty, and likable character who happens to see ghosts. This third installment is better than the second book, FOREVER ODD, but neither of the sequels are as good as the first ODD THOMAS novel which I consider to one of Koontz's best books (I rate WATCHERS as his best). I recommend ODD THOMAS without reservation, but suggest that you save your money borrow a copy of FOREVER ODD and/or BROTHER ODD from your local library. I also recommend that you read ODD THOMAS prior to reading the other books. Each book stands alone, but reading the best book first will increase your enjoyment of the following two.

This is the third (and yes I've read them all) Koontz novel about Odd Thomas. You will find this a quick read. The Odd Thomas chronicles are not the usual Koontz narrative style. More humerous with much toungue in cheek banter between Oddie and others. Good story with the unveiling of the bad guy somewhat of a surprise. Good reading to you!
