It is strong and takes on every sort of fabric that I give it. I sew lots of denim and cotton. It has done well on satins and laces too. Mechanicals like this one are really underrated: they have less that can go wrong than does a computerized model and are cheaper to repair. This is a good investement.

I bought the machine for my mom, she didn't want anything to complicated, she was very happy with the machine and has already gotten lots of use out of it.

It works perfecteven though it was rebated, and for a good reasonable price. I needed it in order to make cosplay cloths so it came in just in time. Other machine were too expensive, this one was perfect.
