I decided to take some sewing classes after being out of the sewing arena for quite some time and needed a machine I could easily take with me to class as my home cabinet machine was not an option. I purchased this machine because of the Brother name, the features, and the portability, and I have to say that it was the perfect machine for my needs. It has made my sewing classes stress free, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new sewing machine.

I have owned several Brother machines and given some as gifts. I bought this machine primarily for quilting and it is wonderful. It has 1/4" seam placement on either the left or the right side of the foot and with a quilting foot, it makes it so easy to make the right width and length of seam. I wouldn't trade it for any other machine, except another Brother!

I am a quilter and own many sewing machines but my daughter is just starting to sew and needed a good reliable machine. I had seen this particular model used in a sewing club I hostess in my studio and decided to bid on it for Kim. I was so happy to win it and she is absolutely thrilled to have a great machine to create clothes and home decor for her little family.

I've recently returned to sewing making small animal bedding. This machine is perfect for what I use it for and easily sews through many layers of fabric. The various functions are easy to use and there's so many great preset stitches! If you are a beginner that doesn't want to pay a lot but wants a good machine, or even if you are a seasoned sewer, this is the perfect little machine!

Très très facile à utiliser/ Very very easy to use !!!!Grande sœur Américaine des CE 4000 et 5000 ( dont seul le nombre de point diffère ) cette machine à coudre est très légère.
J'ai opté pour une électronique pour éviter toute les molettes incompréhensible des mécanique. Je ne suis pas déçu !!!
Grâce à la fiche de démarrage rapide j'ai pu remplir les deux cannettes et commencer à coudre 5 minutes après le déballage. J'ai assemblé sans aucune difficulté deux chiffons de lunettes pour en faire un étui de portable en le retournant comme une chaussette, puis dans la foulée j'ai reprisé un jean ( enfin, plutôt rafistolé !!! lol ).
Il faut savoir aussi que si la vitesse lente est trèèès lente, la vitesse rapide est elle aussi trèèèès rapide, donc attention aux doigts du côté droit de l'aiguille, la vis de fixation est très douloureuse !
Seule contrainte, il faut changer le pied de temps à autres selon le point choisi, les pieds étant noté d'une lettre qui apparait sur le lcd.
