Broken Bridges (DVD, 2007)

I was relatively surprised at how good the movie was. The movie was slow getting going but worth watching for the incredible ending. Loved the music and enjoyed the overall theme. I rented to watch but will be buying to add to my private collection.

I would have rated this VERY GOOD (between excellent and good)-if that was a choice. I found the movie compelling on many levels:
it is mult-generational (has a message for different ages)
it is value-based with a touch of "realism"
the soundtrack is outstanding-incredible-so many talented singers from different genres
Lindsey Haun has a future ahead of her-amazing!
Can Toby Keith's voice be topped? I don't think so!
Burt Reynolds was the "seasoning" in this film, and he has the gift of making you laugh and cry-at the same time!!!

I do believe more could have been done with Toby Keith's character-the criticism is not related to his acting skills; rather, the script could have had more depth regarding his character.

All in all, it was worth watching-and keeping! I would recommend it to others!

It is a heart warming movie with plenty of happiness and sadness. I absolutely recommend this movie to anyone. I personally think this is my favorite movie.

The music is great and the story line is very positive. It is a movie that I would let my pre-teen grand daughters watch. The story line is also very relevant to the military situation we are dealing with today and some of the hard losses so many face.

A love story,
you know how its going to end but it's about a loser as a father
who learns to love and the music isnt bad.
mom & dad fall back in love
But all and all its a good movie.

I hadn't gotten a chance to see this movie prior to buying it on ebay. I like Toby Keith's music and I heard he is a very good actor in this movie and I agree. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to purchase it from my home.

Great, heartwarming movie. Have watched it over and over! Toby Keith is absolutely charming, and Kelly Preston plays a protective , sweet mother.
The young lady who plays Toby Keith's daughter has a wonderful voice. The overall message of the movie , is forgiveness and moving on. Great ending!

Different role for Burt Reynolds, suprised to see Willie Nelson, I think Toby did a great job for his first time acting. Remember where you came from no matter what you're trying to be, or where you're trying to go.

Toby Keith does a great job in this movie, I love this movie, I could watch it over and over. It was wonderful that the daughter could meet here dad and get to know him, it was said that those boys were killed and how wonderfull the towns people were to honor them.

My sister had recorded this one night and I finally got to watch it. I watched it once in the morning then again at night. I immediately wanted one for myself and bought her one as well. If you want a good story line and a feel good movie then this would be a movie for you to consider. I love this movie and am glad to add it to my collection!

Very good movie. Touching and great chick flick. Suitable for young children. Just a plain good movie to watch over and over!

I loved the movie and the song. I watched every time it came out on tv and I still do, that's why I wanted the movie. It makes me cry every time and all the characters are great. Also to me is real life especially in small towns. I love coutry music.

At first, I thought this was going to be another one of those sappy love stories. But it was so much better than that. The music was wonderful, the acting was outstanding, and the storyline was incredible. Toby Keith is one of the best singers/actors ever. This move made me laugh, cry and generally think about all the good things in life. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone.

My Son loves Toby Keith and for his first acting job, I think he did a great job, good movie very heartfilled

i liked this item cause it was a movie that i have wanted to get for a long time and the price was very reasonable..i decided to buy this cause it was much cheaper than the stores

I had to get this dvd for 2 main reasons: Toby Keith and the song that Dixie sings at the end of the movie! Everytime I hear it I cry.
Toby Keith is a wonderful and charming actor. He has made Country Music and Country Music lovers' proud!
Being a military mom in a very patriotic family (I currently have 2 sons in Iraq), I enjoyed the respect and pride implied for our boys in uniform (and specifically the sacrifies WE ALL make) in this movie.

I received this item pretty quickly and the shape of it was great. It was just as it was advertised.

I find that Toby Keith was very endearing and his performance opposite Kelly Preston was very heart felt. There is very good chemistry that is understated and appropriate. The challenges we face later in life after decisions made when we are younger is a simple but powerful plot. I thought this movie was nicely put together with strong performances.
