Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat

I did some research on convertible car seats before I made a purchase. Britax roundabout is perfect for a sedan. I'ts easy to install and comfortable for a baby.
I have no regrets so far!

This is a great car seat. The seller was prompt in mailing it and I had it in hand in no time. My only point of dissatisfaction was in the description of the car seat. It was advertised as "gently used". What I pulled out of the box had dark stains on the straps that had not been listed in the description, as well as crumbs and remnants from the child who last used it. I would have appreciated a more accurate description as well as a wipe down.

I decided to buy this car seat because I found a very good deal on a slightly used one, and I thought, "I will see what all the hype is about."

I would never buy a different brand now!

I drive a Volvo S70 wagon, and it is *very* difficult to install a car seat in it because of how the latch system is installed. The best thing about the Britax seat is that first, the latch strap is not too long, so you don't have to fight with it to get it tightened; and second that the latches are automatic. You do not have to depress any metal part with your finger while rooting around beneath the seat to install it!! You only have to push the latch fastener into the hook and it automatically latches. I didn't even have to tighten mine when I was done! it was already tight. Also, the tether is a great advantage in stablizing the seat. Once I got that attatched to the floorboard, the seat is immovable. I just moved the front seat back to make sure it was tight and that was it. It is the easiest install I have ever done. It took less than 5 minutes and involved no tugging and very little struggle. I just had to change my Eddie Bauer seat to a different car. I really saw the difference! That one took 20 hellish minutes of grunting, pushing, shoving and struggling before it was finally installed correctly.

I would only buy a Britax from now on, even if I have to pay full price. I know I am getting the safest seat available, and the easy installation features make it worth the extra money.
