Britax Regent - Sahara Booster Car Seat

I absolutely love this car seat. I got a great price. I saved $125 off retail. The item was just as described with a few abrasions on the fabric from the box, otherwise, my kids can do more damage than that. I was only concerened about getting the quality and safety of the Britax car seat. Thank you for saving me $100 and I can absolutely live with a little scratch on the fabric for the price I paid. I bought 2 of these car seats for my sons (ages 4 & 5) because they outgrew their last 5 point harness car seats. I decided to buy them because a friend sent me the YouTube video about why 5 point harnesses are much safer than booster seats.

These seats are HUGE but they work well for us because we have a minvan with captain's chairs for each car seat. The seats weigh 30 pounds each and seem very sturdy....like tanks! For any parent who wants their child to be as safe as possible when riding in the car, this seat is worth it. I scoffed at the overpriced Britax car seats when my boys were infants, but these are the only seats on the market that can accomodate older children in a 5 point harness. Considering that riding in the car is the most dangerous thing most kids do, I want my boys to be in harnesses for as long as possible.

my almost 3 year old is off the charts big. this is the only 5 pt harness that he would fit in for the forseeable future. wish we would have gotten it earlier. easy to install (other than it is a bit heavy and bulky). he loves it. he feels like a 'big boy'. should fit in any medium sized sedan on up (maybe even some smaller cars. fits in my audi a6 fine). bought 3 via ebay and saved about $85/seat versus babies r us for a total savings of about $255, i'll take it.

I was looking for a booster for my child who is 3yrs old and weighs 54pds.Safety is a priority for my son,i have 2 other britax car seats and they are great.I bought mine from baby catalog and they were great. The shipment arrived in the box as if i had gone to the store and bought it off of the shelf.Thank you baby catalog for making my first purchase on e bay comfortable and secure,keep up the priority in making sure our children our safe.I defintely recommend buying a britax only for your children, no other car seat will do.

Seems safe and "mom friendly". Covers are made of easy to wipe clean material for spot cleaning. They also remove easily for washing. This HUGE for me. There are so many other brands that don't. And we all know how often kids make messes.
This seat is very large and tall. Seems comfy for my child. But it does take up some space in the back seat. Also because of the height of the seat, it's helpful if the headrest of the auto is small or moves. Makes the fit better.
Also after 40 pounds, use the seatbelt installation and not LATCH.

It's not really so much about what I love about the seat, but what my child loves. He tells everyone how much he loves it! It is nice and spacey, plenty of room to be comfy. He loves the pockets on the side to store drinks and his favorite things in. It is a little heavy but I would never buy anything else. I totally think Britax is the way to go!

I love this seat. I love the fact that my 4 year old is in a harness he is tall for his age and with the Marathon he look too big for it even though it goes up to 65 pounds . I had this car seat before I seen the video about Kyle and it gives me the chills. I also seen the video of the 6 year old in a limo that was hit head on little girl was decapitated she was only with the seat belt, that really haunts me! My son will use this car seat until he out grows the height!.

I am so in love with seat! It is my fav over all that we have owned. BRITAX is the leader for a good reason. This seat is HUGE but so padded & comfy. My 4 1/2 year old loves it. Much nicer than the Cosco Summit he outgrew (outgrew the harness). If I had the extra $$ I would get a couple more for other vehicles....guess he can only ride in my car. I feel so much better that he is ahrnessed in - esp after watching the loss of Kyle on YOUTUBE. Kyle haunts me and I am so at peace knowing my son is more ptotected now.
