Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat - Brooke

We love this car seat. We were hesitant to spend the extra money on it, but we're glad we did. The research all said that Britax was the safest and I've heard the same from all the parents I've spoken with. For that reason, we wanted a Britax. The Marathon is a bit larger and can hold children 5lb up to 65lbs. This is another reason why it is worth the price. You can use it for years. We used a travel system until our daughter was 9 months old, just for the convenience, but a newborn would be comfortable in this seat. It is fully adjustable and is very plush and soft. The car seat comes in a number of great designs and the covers can be laundered to keep them clean. The seat is big and does take up a lot of room. So you must check to see if this seat will fit in your car, especially when it is backward facing. This is the only negative we found with the seat. The Britax Marathon is safe, comfortable, easy to install, long lasting, easy to use, and adorable!
