Great car seat and booster combo!

I love this car seat. We purchased a Britax Regent almost 3 years ago for our then-2-year old so that his baby brother could have his Britax Roundabout. Our plan was for him to stay in it until he moved to a boostermany years down the road. The Regent was huge, heavy, and hard to install without latch (the seat is so big, the seatbelts are many times too short. Other than that we loved the regent and the safety.
The birth of our third child brought more musical chairs (well car seats). We purchased the Frontier for our oldest (now 4), moved our 2-year old to the Regent and put the baby in the Roundabout.
Well, we love the Frontier! It is light weight, much narrower, and installs without needing a large quantity of seat belt like the Regent. We like it so much, we are purchasing a second one for our 2 year old. He likes to sleep in his seat, and in the Regent his head slumps horribly. The head wings on the frontier will prevent that. We also are taking a trip by train soon and didn't want to even attempt to take the Regent with us since it is so heavy and huge.
What we like:
1) light weight, narrow (easier to install with other seats in car)
2) fairly easy to install. read the instructions thoroughly, though.
3) the headreast and belts move up as they grow without having to rethread the straps - hallelujah!
4) buckle between the legs is closer to the body than regent
5) head wings are nice
6) seat is very comfortable
Cons:
1) cupholders are about worthless. don't work well
2) strap release button is a little difficult to find/work
I recommend this for any parent wanting to keep their child in a 5-point restraint as long as possible.
