I love this movie it is really funny. I bought it for my dad for fathers dad well a late fathers day present, because he likes comedy movies just like me.

I got the non-working dvd and am trying to return for refund. The shipping time was poor also. I have been trying to contact seller, to no avail. Very dissatisfied customer.

Bring Down the House is a fine movie, The Queen does a great job of being a crimal and being funny. It has lots of comedy and lots of good acting from all the actors in the movie.

Classic Steve Martin. This is one of my favorite movies. I saw the first part of it at someone's house and didn't get to see the end, so I bought the DVD and was glad I did. I've watched it several times and always get a kick out of it!

Reading all the positive reviews made me want to buy this movie. Got an excellent price from the seller and was thoroughly delighted about the story line from beginning to end. Queen Latifah is such an awesome actress in this movie. Get ready to laugh your tail off---very funny movie.

This movie is diffently not for kids... But it is a great movie to watch if you want to laugh. This is why I purchased this movie. That and the actors in this movie are great. They all work so well togther. The felling of the movie is as if they were a real family.

I enjoyed the DVD very much, it was funny, well written, actors suited their parts, there was nothing that I disliked about the movie, but I feel that the relationship between Queen's character and Eugene Levy could have been brought out a little more. I had to purchase it to add to my DVD library so that I can enjoy it over and over. I enjoy it each I time I view it.

I absolutely love Steve Martin. He is one the originally funny comedians who is a great actor and a naturally funny guy. I love Queen Latifah to death! She is funny, sweet, beautiful, and inspiring. This movie is a riot! It isn't 100% funny like a 50 First Dates or a White Chicks or even a I'm Gonna Get You Sucka, but definately 95% funny. The subtracted 5% would be for the super corny and not funny parts, which this movie has about 2 to 4 parts like that. It also had a couple of parts that were just like, unreal, but only black women would know that. Beside those little things, this movie is hillarious and is worth owning if you like to laugh!

Steve Martin doesn't always have great roles or films, this one is one of his best. Movie is light hearted and funny, never obscene or vulgar. Although I had never even heard of Queen Latifah prior to this, kudos to her for a great performance. Eugene Levy provides a stellar supporting performance. Great job casting, great story! Definitely recommend!!

This is got to be THE most funniest movie I have ever seen! There's no doubt about it! Queen Latifah REALLY brings down the house-LITERALLY! You MUST have a GREAT sense of humor for this film! Steve Martin is so good as the straight, narrow minded lawyer/father that Queen Latifah reshapes & molds in all of the positive ways possible! There's a great chemistry between the two that keeps you laughing on & on! It's too funny! If you don't see this movie, you're missing out on a GREAT comedy! I highly recommend it! Go for it, you WON'T be disappointed!

This movie was gr8. Its goes to show that you can like someone but not based on their race, the bringing up but exactly how they act. Queen definately proved that the typical stereo type was not her. Yeah she was hip-hoppin' but with style that attracted the people around her rather than offend them. I think in life everyone needs a Queen in their life just to re-arrange things and show a brighter side to something new. No dislikes about this movie.. Could watch it over and over again.
