Bringing Down the Horse by Wallflowers (The) (CD, May-1996, Interscope Records USA)

Have bought it in rock section in store because it caught my attention. Have no regrets because now it is one of my favorites. Great music, great album, great band. If you like rock do not miss this one.

awesome cd great tunes to listen to over and over again. i have owned and played constantly for over a decade.

It is a well rounded cd. It has some quicker tempo songs and some touching songs. I listen to it quite a bit when I go on road trips. It's not a cd that your only gonna listen to once and throw back in the case and lose somwhere.

Music just isn't what it used to be. Not even 10 years ago when this cd was first released. There is a smooth sound from the wallflowers and noticable musical talent. This is a very young classic must have CD in your collection

One of the best albums for folk rock - Jakob Dylan's best album by far. The first 5 songs are great.

Every song on this album had potential as a hit single. Jacob Dylan will never be able to top it.

One of the best Music CD's ever. All the top hits that are great to listen to over and over again.

By far the Wallflowers best album. When I first heard One Headlight on the radio years ago I had to buy the album. Unfortunately, it has been played so much on the top 40 stations that it has been completely worn out. Anyway, I'll rate it on my first impression. 4 Stars.

This is a very good CD with very good songs. It has been missing from my collection since losing it when it first came out.

This cd is great and I do recommend it.
All the songs are super with One Headlight and The Difference being my favorites.
Jakob Dylan's voice reminds me a little of his fathers voice but with a more modern sound.
The whole CD is a bit mellow, with a good story to each song.

I've actually had this CD before, and I really liked it so when I lost my previous CD, I looked here first to replace it. I like the sound of Jakob Dylan's voice on lead vocals, and I like the message of the songs...especially "one headlight".

when i saw the cd on ebay i remembered the first time i heard them on radio and since then i enjoyed them however; never bought the cd. so i took the opportunity and purchased it.

If you like Bob Dylan's music, you'll surely like this CD, "The Wallflowers, Bringing Down the Horse" as well. Son, Jakob Dylan has BIG shoes to fill following in the steps of a legend, but have no doubt this young man will and has succeeded.

His music doesn't have quite the "voice," the "twang," well, the "DYLAN" that dad Bob did, but it's good, and he is of course not Bob.! There will be no other Bob Dylan as far as I am concerned, but Jakob Dylan is indeed his father's son when it comes to great music with a story to tell, and I can only see him getting better as his dad did as he progresses on in his music.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate this CD a "9." I really like it. :-)
