I love Classic Musicals and wanted to add this to my DVD collection. I already had a VHS version, but I wanted the DVD version also. I love everything about this movie.

Brigadoon, a musical about a town that reappears every 100 years, is a video worth the time. It reminds you of a simpler era, one in which movies didn't have R ratings and all the trappings. You'll love it.

) It's been years since my wife and I have seen this film, but it represents all that a good musical, cynility, and fantasy can speak of. Van Johnson is great as the cynical non-believer and questioner of faith. Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse are incredible. This from a guy who can count his favorite musicals on one hand and not fill it up. A must watch. Especially for the younger genre.
