Great fun!
LOVE Colin Firth, and Renee Zellweger!! AND...love-to-hate Hugh Grant!!
This is a nostalgic flashback to the "over-30 and single" days that many experienced.
My own era, for this time in my life, was in the mid-1980's, & I can see myself, and my friends, in Bridget and her pals. We were an interactive and very supportive group. Even the music reflects that era in time!
The fact that it is loosely based on "Pride and Prejudice" is a plus, and I found myself falling more "in love" with MARK Darcy than I did with FITZWILLIAM Darcy...probably due to the fact that it was a lot easier to relate to Bridget Jones than it was to relate to Elizabeth Bennett.
Hugh Grant was such fun, as the George Wickham-type character, and it was great, to see Mark Darcy give him the old "one-two!"
Just a most entertaining and well-acted romp! LOVE the fact that they chose Renee Zellweger fir the title role!! YES...!!!
