Saw this movie years ago. Is a real tear jerker, especially considering it is based on a true story. Very good acting.

BRIAN'S SONG IS GREAT. I SAW THE NEWER ONE BUT THIS ONE WITH JAMES CAAN IS THE BEST ONE. I HAVE BOTH OF THEM AND I'D WATCH THIS ONE EVERY TIME.

Bought it when we switched from VHS to DVD. No way for even a guy to watch it without crying.

Story of a how classy 2 sports figures can be, should be, and see beyond the color barrier. This movie is right up there with "Pride of the Yankees" "Somebody Up There Likes Me" and the original "Rocky" Gayle Sayers still talks about his friend Brian Piccolo nearly 40 years later.

No steroids, no scandals, just 2 true heros.

A "must see." A classic motivational true story that will move kids. The plot is easy to follow and the entire DVD is gripping.

The movie came in time it was in between the estimated time. The movie works great there are no scratches on it, Ive had no problems with it. The box looks real straight it has no dents or holes or anything. Im very happy with the product.

It's dated and a little corny. Made to TV type of movie. But it is moving and based on real people. It shows tough, determined men who still can care for one another.

I saw this movie years ago and love it then and now I can watch it when I want. It is a true story, a sad story but the man was a great person and that is how he would be remembered. I recommend if you like true stories and real people see this movie

I originaly purchased it as a gift for my parents. They couldn't stop talking about it so I watched it before I sent it. It is a strong movie and was brand new in awsome condition. The movie is definatly worth watching and adding to your home collection. Although at the end be prepaired for a very touching moment. (actualy tisue is a great idea.)

This is one of the best movies I've seen. I enjoy the orginal version better than the remake. The price was great and I couldn't find it in any store in town.

I made this purchase because I only had a tape of the movie and wanted to have a dvd copy. I also wanted to have the extras that the dvd included that did not come with the television version of the movie.

This is a very good movie. I've liked this movie for years!! It shows the friendship between 2 people that are of different races and how they are there for each other no matter what. Also showing that true friendship sees beyond the color of skin. I highly recommend this movie!!

I saw this movie which came out in 1971 as the ABC movie of the week. It will stay with you for the rest of your life. I am living proof as I first saw it when I was only 9 years old, now I'm 44. I just bought it recently on DVD. Though still unopened, I am preparing myself to watch it again. This time with my new family. And believe me, they will feel the same as when I saw it. This movie is about a bond, a friendship between 2 people that will always be a staple and should be viewed by racially minded people. A classic and best of all....a genuine true story.

This movie was and still is my wife's favorite of all time. I was thrilled to find it in the DVD format for her for a Christmas gift. She loved it and we will enjoy it anytime we want now that we have a copy. I was pleased with the price and fast shipping. This is a movie that will take you for a ride from laughs to tears it has it all. Try it you'll like it we are sure. If not I would not be doing this review.
