A clueless story with clueless characters

The story "promises" that there will be drama, tension, and that a game is being played-- where the winner lives. The reality is that the story really does not make sense, the attempt to justify and explain it is worse than the bumbling attempt to fill the needed time, the photography and sound are fairly good, the acting ranges from "what?" to good, but there just is not a coherent story.
There is an adage that every good actor has to have one movie in his past that he cannot explain, and that the better he becomes the more you realize just how bad that movie was.
If that's true look for some of these actors to become stars.
