Breath of Fire IV (PlayStation, 2000)

If you have a PS2 or even a PS3 it is absolutely worth it to find a copy of this game. "Breath of Fire IV" is one of the best RPGs out there, easily on par with the best of the Final Fantasy series. As an added component, you get to play as both the protagonist and the antagonist, leveling up the ultimate baddie knowing that eventually you'll have to fight him. In addition to the excellent graphics and engaging story, BOF IV is a welcome addition to any RPG library.

The Breath of Fire series is some of the best story and gameplay ever.
Breath of fire 3 is way better than 4 in my opinion.But all are great.
You cant go wrong.

This, too, is a game I like because my son likes it. Being able to buy a copy of an older game for my son is great because we live in a small, rather isolated town and don't have benefits of big cities, such as little stores that cater to small parts of the population. Stores here have to cater to everyone to survive. And the game arrived in good condition and plays well. So, we'll do it again when he wants another older game.

The game just rules. The gameplay is easy to figure out, the storyline is in-depth, and is enough to keep the best of gamers busy. Let me buy this game!!!

I have always loved the breath of fire games , and this one is no different. I have over 50 rpgs, but this one always has me coming back to play again and again and again.....i could ask for nothing more in a game....and at the price i got it i was very grateful

A must have for all RPG collectors.

This game, is almost entirely alike all of the other Breath of Fires, especially #3.

If you liked the styling of #3, you will want to play this game. it has a little better graphics, a different storyline, and the fishing gets a lot harder.

This game is easier to find than #3, and also alot cheaper. If you can find a used, but playable copy, it will be worth it. The copy I had, was in Japaneese, and I've heard that most of the anime sequences are in Japaneese as well in the english version.

A must have for all RPG fanatics.

Well I like the game but it freezes on me at a certain point and won't go any farther. I don't see any tell tell stratches but I can't move forward with the game either.

The picture of the game was laid out so you could see everything the seller was displaying. Shipping overall came asap to my house. The packaging for the game was a nice shell of air bubbles. Overall the trasaction was just the way I imagined!!!

This is an amazing Game! definitely take some time and sit down and play this wonderful adventure. in this story you will join ryu the main character you will grow intimately close to him and the rest of the party that will join against fou lu and his dark dragon magic.

it got here fast i got a kinda note and the game was pretty much flawless and if i go to order something else and they or the the one selling it i will more then likely buy from them

I honestly have NEVER seen a PS1 disk that looks this perfect. There are absolutely NO scratches that i can see, no buffs, nothing. the booklet isnt warped in any way. The jewel case has a few scratches but thats not anything to even complaign about.

Basically I had this game before and missed the music. Why I brought it was simple to remember what rpg's roots came from.

Never received item. Seller claims it was shipped with ten other items. AND makes up an absurd story regarding a family emergency... Hey everybody has family emergencies. A couple of other sellers had family emergencies and I, along with many customers, received our items in an unusually fast manner. Hey if you really did not want to sell what was the purpose of doing this?

The Breath of Fire series is definitely alright. The PS2 release Dragon Quarter is the best of the series. Definitely worth a run through if RPG's tickle your fancy.

I bought this game because I love the entire breath of fire game series. It is also great to be able to find a lightly used game for half the price or better, on e bay.
