Now, I'm an old school type of girl. I don't need a Playstation 3 to know a good game when I see one, although I would really like one to see what they've come up with next. I thought Breath of Fire was the greatest game ever, until they came out with the second one. Over the years I had played the first and third of the series. I never could find the 2nd or 4th. Now I have all 4, and it's still a toss up between the first and second. The story line is great, the characters are great. Everything about this game is great. Of course, it has the graphics of a Super Nintendo game, but that's to be expected. If you like the Breath of Fire series, the second one is definitely something you should try out.

I like how the info says great condition, but the label is old and scratched and is actually peeling in places and the game is very sensitive. Doesn't sound too much like great condition huh? Maybe revise words and look at products at the same time instead of making up descriptions!

An Overlooked but Classic RPG: Breath of Fire 2

Pros:
Involving story, great music, three different endings, the innovative TownShip

Cons:
Translation mistakes (but sometimes they're amusing)

Back in 1996, I was looking at a Nintendo Power magazine and I saw an article on the game Breath of Fire 2. I had never played Breath of Fire but 2 looked rather interesting. However, I was young with no money so I couldn't buy the game. Years later I found it on eBay and purchased it. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop. I have since played through it countless times, getting different endings and bringing different people to TownShip (more about that later), and it has not lost its appeal. The Story A young boy named Ryu goes to sleep under a dragon that protects his village because his.

Pros:
not a bad old school RPG and cost 8 bucks on the wii

Cons:
dragon summons, engrish, and finding people to live in your town.

I downloaded Breath of Fire 2 for the Wii about a month ago. I was looking for a good old school RPG and I thought this would hit the spot. For 8 bucks you get a good 40 hours worth of gameplay not a bad deal, but I should warn you BOF2 has some old school draw backs but I get to that later on in my review. Story. You re a young kid named Ryu (no relation to Street Fighter 2 Ryu) who lives in the village of gate. 3 years ago demons attack the small village and killed Ryu s mother fortunately a dragon that now sleeps outside of town appeared and protected it. One Ryu you goes to sleep by the...
