Esthero is simply amazing...

I bought this album because I had already purchased much of her music on iTunes and on vinyl ('cause i am old skool like that.. !) and i just love the unique quality of her voice. it's soothing...but with a bite ad edge that makes it one of a kind and stand out from the rest of the vocalists currently producing out there. And her lyrics are always tight, you know, half the time it's as if she's tapped into my head or even soul and drawn out the things I dare not think aloud. It's always so spot on.
And I am torn between wishing her more success so that she is able to create more and wanting to keep her my own little secret so that life and success don't change her too much. However, in Esthero's case, from her lyrics and the way that she's managed her career, I think she is tough enough to refrain from selling her soul to the industry or having it beaten and stepped on...so I cannot wait to hear more from her. And I urge anyone who has not yet (knowingly - she collaborates a LOT) heard her voice to check her out. I would be shocked if you were disappointed...other than wishing the music would go on and on.
