Breakthrough by Suzanne Somers (2008, Hardcover)

Excellent book! I've been on bio-identical hormones for about 2 years and there's still so much more to learn! I appreciate how Suzanne asks the right questions and has exposed the truth about traditional medicines.

As a woman over 50 who had seemingly unrelated symptoms, this book had the information I was looking for. It contains so many things concerning women's health issues in one place that doctors don't tell you about or say aren't important in health care decisions. This book led me to investigate several options I wasn't sure were available in our small town. It explained the causes of health issues and went beyond treating the symptoms. This book looks at ways to cure the causes.

Suzanne Somers uses experts to guide her and to provide her with necessary shots, etc. It's her story. We need more doctors who advertise they use replacement hormones as alternatives. For regular folk it's not so easy.

I bought this book because I wanted to find out about bio-identical hormones. I found out everything I could ever want to know and more. There was so much information about alot of different topics. All of the information was new and helpful to me. I loved the way the book was set up. It was a bonus that there was info for the guys. I am feeling much better now. I used one of the doctors in the back of the book as well a pharmacy. The doctor was great and the pharmacy was fantastic. I will definately be buying Suzanne Somers next book.

I checked this book at the library first and so much useful info I had to buy it. What a great source of information for us ladies.

Very informative, easy to read with great references. Book was recomended in Oprah Winfried show and was worth it.

I never received the book. I didn't get a refund until I inquired three weeks after the book was due.

This is a very informative book which offers alternative medicines and treatments and overall approaches to achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A must read. Challenges the usage of chemically based pharmaceutical products unless no natural alternative available, which is rare. The earlier this book is read and its elements implemented in our daily regimen, improvement will be noticed in our physical and mental well being.

I bought this for my wife. She told me that she wanted to take her time with it
as it contained a lot of information gathered from comversations with several
physicians over a course of years. That is really all I can say other than she,
my wife, seems very pleased with that information thus far.

informative inspiring like a breath of fresh air, this book took me by surprise and allowed me to really see myself in a different light. I could remember fighting with myself, now im much calmer, much more resolved, im definitely not in the same frame of mind, thank you suzanne

She uses the term "cutting edge medicine" throughout the book, and it certainly lives up to the favorable promotion it been getting on T.V.interviews, Internet and personal appearances by the author.It answers questions on "What is Breakthrough Medicine", and interviews many top level Doctors and research scientists with amazingly simple, easy to understand questions and answers. The answers these top level people give is simply astounding, and easy to follow for the every day person.
I myself found a simple answer to a personal health issue that had me running to Doctors every month for over two years. It's now SOLVED due to the info in this book! Thank you, Suzanne!
