This movie was just like my middle school back in the late eighties to a tee. I loved the fact that someone actually got it right, because this was the pop culture in the eighties and early nineties. I think the popularity of the movie widely exists because of the clothing trends and the adolescent behavior, that anyone can relate to have known at some point in his or her life. Every class usually has a trouble maker, a jock, a princess, a bi-polar person or at very least a geek. Sticking all these different personalities in one room made it impossible for these teenagers to not see that they had more in common than they originally could have ever imagined. Everyone should see this movie at least once.

I won 2 copies of the Breakfast Club on DVD from the same seller and I pd for them by money order on 6/30/06 and I still have not rcvd them or my money back. And I got a message that the seller was no longer a member. What are you , E-Bay, going to do about it. I refuse to buy or pay for anything else until this is taken care of. Thats why I have not pd yet for other items I bid on and won.

This has long been one of my favourite movies, and when I switched from VHS to DVD, it was one of the first things I thought to buy. I didn't want to record it from the TV, because I wanted the full, uncensored version. And I got it! This movie brings back a lot of memories for me, and the ending is the one I wish I had ended up with. Either way, the movie has a lot to say about human relationships, preconceptions and stereotypes. It tells us that under the surface, we all have more in common than we usually realise, and these 5 kids learned that lesson in a Saturday detention.

The breakfast club...you cant go wrong with this movie. I want to find one person who does not like this movie...just one and i wanna meet them. I didnt like this movie one time but thats cuz i never saw it b4 and thought "what was the big deal with this movie" Until I saw it that is. Now this movie is one of my favs. Buy it....just buy it. Love that movie.

that is how I would describe this movie. it was great when I first saw it many years ago. I guess it is the many great movies since then that lessens my appreciation of this once really great movie. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who has not seen it.

Awesome Movie!!!!!!!This movie is a hysterical comedy. I absolutely love everything about it. The central idea of 5 strangers that have nothing in common except having detention. The way they grow close to each other and the hilarious scenes in between make this 80s film one of the best from it's decade! I love the Breakfast Club!!!!

It has been a long time since I have seen "The Breakfast Club". Not too long ago there was a commercial on TV where the young actors parodied the movie. I forgot what the commercial was about but I remembered the movie and how long it had been since I had seen it so I looked it up on ebay and found it at a great price. It is a classic when you think of how popular these actors were in their time and how many other movies they did together and by themselves. Each one in their own right is an icon of the eighties and their movies have stood the test of time. I wish the language was alot smoother than it is because I would feel better about letting my 13 year old daughter watch it. Maybe when she is older but nevertheless it is a great movie and worth having in the collection alongside "Sixteen Candles", "Pretty In Pink", "Wierd Science" and "Repo Man". There are others that I can't seem to recall but they can all still be found for a good price. The soundtrack is great too. Happy hunting and watching.

) I enjoyed this film when it first came out and now have purchased it for my teenage daughter to view. She immediately related the various characters in the Breakfast Club to students at her own school: the nerd, the trouble-maker, the jock, etc. I had forgotten that it was R rated, but, in truth, it has no more bad language or questionable references than most PG13 movies these days.
