This step-by-step DVD is a good foundation for most beginners to build on. It has a tutorial for every move that you can associate with breakdancing. The DVD goes over basics as well as the advanced moves, making it a keeper for both beginners and veterans. The DVD also covers keypoints in help in one's overall skill and comprehension. This list summarizes my pro's and con's:

Pros:
- Tutorials are easy to understand. Coherent speaker and well executed moves.
- Every move is covered in tutorials from freezes, toprocks, to power moves.
- Different camera angles to show one the overall visual outcome.
- Constant playback of the move to emphasize correct stance/form.
- Fun extra features from interviews to events. A learning experience as well as a enjoyment to watch these.
- Reveals the background/history of a move briefly before going into it.

Cons:
- Does not cover a few topics that might be useful to a beginner such as "What kind of shoes are suitable?", "On what type of floor is it better to practice on?", and "How does one condition their body for this?"
- More breakdance events. (This is a personal preference rather than a weakness of the product.)

Overall, this instructional DVD is ideal for the new crowd of breakdancers as well as the experienced ones. This is a must buy!

These Dvd's are FULL of Clear intstructions. They slow them down and explain EACH move. From the VERY basic as TOP Rock...To master class moves. There is something for everyone. And LOTS of different moves to do. The battles are awesome as well. This is worth the $$$. You will not regret buying this. My whole neighborhood is learning to breakdance..You couldnt get better instructions anywhere except for personal 1 on 1.

The moves are explained in very good detail and different angles. A good purchase for those of us who don't/can't find a breakdance class in the local area. The video instruction also includes popping and not just breakdance. The popping portion also has clear and good instruction. Bottom line is if your thinking about it or want to learn, this is the clear instruction video for breaking and its cheaper than a class.

I love this dvd. It really takes time to teach the basics and also advanced moves. I didn't really know what to expect, but I'm satisfied and it's entertaining...It's not something that you can learn over night, but with this dvd and practice you'll be on your way to be an offical bboy or bgirl...

The DVD was good, but I can't do anything on it, most of the things were very difficult to me.... and no I'm not a fat ass. It's still fun to try and attempt with my dorm mates

It is a very good DVD for beginners in Breakdancing. It will be an excellent guide to many starters out in the US. I bought it to enhance my breakdancing skills but I knew all the tricks and tips on the DVD.

It is good instructionally. The disc case smelled funny, like some kind of solvent. Pretty strong smell. Otherwise, very happy.
