Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

This was a really great video series. Coming with 2 DVD's it runs a little over 3 hours long. Which is long enough for a good amount of content but short enough to go back and watch again. The techniques are beginner level and geared towards so defense mainly, not so much Sport Jiu-Jitsu which would be just how to score points in a competition. I recommend this to anyone interested in starting Jiu-Jitsu as it will give you a great foundation of moves. For the price you can't go wrong either way!

everything poorly wrapped a copied dvd and it was blank wouldnt play in dvd player. was suppose to be a box set and set one blank dvd

Brazilian JJ is almost a mandatory martial arts style to take if you want understand the main core of the real martial arts. Also it is based in real combat. If you need to know all about combat in the ground, this is the DVD that you need to learn. Sensey Simco is an excellent instructor and the DVD is very clear and easy to understand, and by the way the price is Hilarius and unbeatable. In my personal opinion you only can find this in eBay. I bought this DVD 4 weeks ago and it shows step by step the basic moves and some more advanced moves. I practice Jiu jitsu and this DVD help me a lot remind some shocks and arm locks.
I highly recomended for beginners to blue belt labels

great price!! certainly helps with clearly demonstrating techniques, basic information in bjj and gives novices great information that they can build upon

The course is pretty basic but shows a variety of very effective moves. They are very simple and to the point but most of all effective. This is a trmendous value for the price paid. Decent video and the moves were showed at a variety of angles.

I was surpirsed at some of the techniques as I was taught (a diffent style - Okinawan Kenpo) very differnt responses / moves. GREAT video if you have little martial are background. Quite useful for those of us not trained in this style too! I would buy again - guess that says it all!

This is a very well done dvd.The thing I like best is that Mr.Simco shows you one way to do several things instead of several ways to do one thing.This dvd is combat oriented 100%.This is a great dvd for those like myself who learnd traditional karate,and would like add some basic ground work to your game.It is also good for those who want to learn what these ground guys are up to and how to defend against them. Mr. Simco REALLY knows what he`s doing and does not skip the little details that make things work or not work. This dvd is packed with info I`ll be years working on all this stuff.Both audio and visual are good and the camera work is perfect.This dvd is so well worth your money.I love this dvd.

This dvd shows an awesome variety of situations in which you may be attacked and picks apart each piece of the jiu jitsu technique with and without the gee.

Very well put together tranning dvd , i have many others a specialy mouy thai but this is the best ,you can realy learn from it.
