Braveheart (VHS, 2001, Spanish Subtitled)

There are several reasons why I enjoyed this DVD. First, and most importantly, it is reflective of rich Scottish history and so it is a grounds for education. Second, it demonstrates all aspects of war and shows the advantages and disadvantages of being a leader. Third, some people might find the graphic nature of this DVD to be offensive, but I believe it was very helpful in illustrating a true war from that time. When comparing this DVD to others of a similar category, Braveheart outranks them all because of its stunning ability to put the viewer in the position of the main character. Anyone viewing this DVD will be able to feel, in a sense, what it was like to live the life of William Wallace. I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone who has an interest in Scottish history, the art of warfare, or even a simple love story.
