Braun Brookstone Tassimo 1-Cup Coffee Maker

The Tassimo 1-Cup is a great machine, however it is limited in the variety of flavored coffee(which I prefer) selections. If I had it to do over, I would have paid more and bought a Keurig....more selections and there is also a "make your own cups/pods" product that works for Senia or Keurig but not for Tassimo products.

Up front, I’m somewhat of a coffee snob and fairly difficult to please. I have a very high-end Expobar Brewtus II and Mazzer Mini for home use, but the time required to operate this combo relegates their use to weekends and entertaining. I needed (more like really wanted) a machine for a quick, fresh cup of Joe or espresso or cappuccino or latte or macciato or tea of hot cacao in my office so I wouldn’t waste time and $ running out to *buck$. My wife has had a Tassimo in her office (right next to a *buck$) for more than a year and has completed weaned her staff away from the competition with the relatively low cost, variety, convenience and FAST speed of brewing. You’ll wait in line a lot longer at *buck$ that it takes to brew your favorite with the Tassimo. Well, Santa fixed me up with a Tassimo and I am really pleased! The only drawback is the limited local availability of the brewing discs. Tassimo has a subscription service that is fairly quick and efficient, but it takes a bit of time to start deliveries, then you DEFINITELY won’t want to run out of your favorites. Proactive inventory control is a must!!! Also, initial setup is a bit confusing as the machine must do some testing, pump running, etc, to get to the initial “Ready to Brew” stage. Once through the flashing lights phase, leave it on standby – RED LIGHT!

It reviewed well and the design was also very nice. I had been looking for a single serve machine that provided both coffees, teas and other hot drinks. It makes an excellent cup.

The machine makes a quick cup. It makes loud vibration noises while its working though. The coffee flavors are nice. You do have to remove the used coffee packets after each cup unlike other models that discard it in a bin for you. You have to refill the water after about 3-4 cups. It made a good gift for my mother this Christmas and for all the company that she didn't have to make coffee for.

This is such a great coffee pot. Ive had it about 2-3 years. I bought it because I can make coffee, espresso, cappucino, hot chocolate and teas.
It's very easy to use.
There are more and more coffee varities coming out all the time for it.
They also have good customer service. Mine stopped working, I called CS and they replaced it for me.

I absolutely love the Tassimo, love all the different drinks I can make at the touch of a button. I think I must have wore the other one out, Can't wait to receive this one in the mail. Mine still works well, its just I have to do manual, I take it on my road trips all the time, I may have shaken something loose, I'm keeping it for back up now. Thankyou!

This product is owned by both my daughters and was recommended to me by them both. We share the supplies, so we all have many choices to enjoy.

It took three deliveries to get a water cylinder that didn't have a crack in it, but the seller was more than gracious in getting the perfect one to me.
I have only used the Tassimo once, but when the cold weather gets here, I will use it nightly for a cup of something hot to warm me up on those chilly nights.

Easiest way to get a GREAT cup of coffee. The available selection satisfies anyone from 3 year-olds (hot chocolate) to adults (coffee, cappuccino, etc) to the elderly (many kinds of tea...). Just place the disk in the machine, push the button and enjoy...

I really enjoyed the rich coffeehouse flavor when I had coffee at a relatives home. They had a Tassimo. I got one for my home and love it.

I like that it is fast and the one at a time, cause sometimes thats all I want. I also like the coffees that provide coffee for the maker, they are not cheap. I wish they had a pod you could use to put your own coffee in. (Like Kuerig does)

It's convience of making one cup of what ever you want. Its stylish The other side of it is its a little costly for the disks if used a lot. While I guess were all supportive of treating our selves once in a while.

Item was "USED" not new as stated in auction. I will never buy from this seller again and I told all my friends and family not to either!

Great coffee. Easy to use. Great variety of coffee to choose from. I decided to buy this coffee maker because a friend owed one and it was great to use and really easy. I just had to have one for the convenience of having gourmet coffee at the tips of my finger in my own home.

This is for a wedding gift in August so I have no idea yet if it works or not, packaged as new and seller and service was great.

The product does exactly what it says it will. Makes one cup of coffee, tea or chocolate at a time. You can also make cappaccino or lattes. Easy and convenient. Customer service from my seller and the company have been phenomenal.

Coffe maker was broken upone arrival. On item description said only needed water filter. Not true, item was not working and needed to be fixed.

Love this machine, it makes one cup at a time. You can get several brands of coffe, tea and espresso "t-discs" either in stores (larger chains, like wal-mart are the only local places i have found them)or online through the tassimo website. I have never had a cup of coffee taste so good from any other coffee maker! The Lattes are as good as the java hut in town, and the teas are great also. Highly reccommend to anyone looking for a single serve machine!
