Anyone that is a huge fan of the 1992 version of Bram Stoker's Dracula will love this collectors edition DVD. The movie is of course fabulous. The second DVD has loads of extras including "Making of the film", past and present interviews with the stars. There is a great documentary on the visual effects as well! Lots of deleted scenes (love those) and an ALTERNATIVE ENDING! Definately a great addition to any Dracula collection!

This movie is gorgeously filmed, superbly acted by Gary Oldman, and has the best imagery evoking a gothic, romantic part of history. The collector's edition has additional scenes and commentaries for Francis Ford Coppola which are really interesting to anyone who is a fan of his work. A must see!

I hunted this movie down because of where I live (South Carolina). I love this movie and wanted to share its compelling love story with my husband. Dracula is in every way stimulating. I love the use of languages and costumes and effects. I love this movie, love , love , love it!

Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder star in Francis Ford Coppola's
1992 Horror film. I think Gary Oldman is such an amazing actor
and loved his performance as the classic vampire. This is a
fantastic dvd because not only does it have beautiful picture
and sound, but great extras. If you don't already have this
film or want to upgrade, I recommend picking this one up. It's
so worth it, especially if you're a horror fan.

One of the most commercially successful horror films of all time, Francis Ford Coppola's reinterpretation of the legendary vampire story isn't really a horror film at all. Despite a powerful opening sequence, amazing special effects, and a brief scene of a lycanthropic wolf-beast having sex, this version strips away most of the scares and sex in favor of romance. Rather than the powerful, feral sexuality of previous screen Draculas -- Christopher Lee comes to mind -- Gary Oldman's performance hinges on sadness, longing, and the memory of his wife. A perfect cast for this film and addition to your DVD collection.

Greatest Edition of DraculaThis is really how you do a 2 disc collectors edition. Theres no fluff promotional crap featurette on this disc. You get a High-Def transfer of the film, a commentary track, 4 great making of featurettes, and a load of deleted scenes. All in all a great purchase if you love the film.
