Brain Quest: Grades 5 & 6 (Nintendo DS, 2008)

Bought the item to help enhance my child's knowledge learned in school. Everyone in the house is using it and learning something from it.
Game is easy to use. All things are explained in a simple manner for quick understanding by all ages and education levels.
Music gets annoying after awhile, repeats the same tune--turn the volume down and it is fine.
Learning is made fun, by earning points to decorate your own space. The points are used as $$ to pay for items you want in your own space.
Pleased with overall simplicity of the game, variety of questions and the levels of difficulty to the questions.
Learn something every time you play it.

It keeps my daughter interested and she doesnt feel like she's doing schoolwork. She looks forward to it. There is also a varirty of activities math, geometry, english..etc..

This game is really good, but also very challenging. I am a 4th grade teacher, and I bought this for my niece who is also a 4th grader. It was way too hard for her, but my older nephew had a lot of fun with it (along with the adults). It is very similar to the Brain Quest card game version.

I bought this game for my son for Christmas because he had asked for a Nintendo DS. He is 9 years old and in the 4th grade gifted program. After I had already bought it, he told me that he didn't want any "educational" games, so I decided to have "Santa" give it to him. We were at my mom's house for a week along with two of my sisters and their teenage children. My son began playing the game and asked different people for help with questions depending on their area of expertise. We could not stop playing it! If my son put it down, someone else picked it up and started playing it. Our ages ranged from 9 to 75 and included two teachers, two Master's degrees and one PhD. I am not sure that all of the questions are things actually taught in school in 5th or 6th grade and we did discover one answer that was incorrect(we looked it up on the internet to verify this). I would like for it to give a little bit more explanation after the question is answered so there is a little more "teaching" involved. Overall very good alternative to the mindless video games kids love and my son didn't mind at all that it was educational.

This is an excellent game for kids and adults. I bought this for my 10 year old and I found out learning quite a few things myself and they give you a huge range of learning activities. It's fun for my child and any adult that wants to brush up on math, social studies, geography, science and more. I would highly recommend this game. It's great during the summer months while the kids are out of school to keep up on their studies.

Item is great for kids. Helps with math and reading skills. I bought this product for my 10 year old daughter so that she can play on her Nintendo DS. I think that it is helpful for her to strengthen her skills.

My niece loves this game. She is 11 yrs old. She is in the 5th grade but at a higher level of her peers academically and loves to be challenged academically. This games keeps her challenged academically.

I placed my order on 11-09-09, item was not shipped until 11-14-09, still have not received it. Received an email finally today only to tell me that the item is out of stock. How could it ship if it is out of stock???!!!! Will not order from this seller again!

I like playing this game as much as my godchild. It keeps us on our toes and we learn tons of information.

I love how fun it is for my girl...lots of Brain activities with a ton of fun...I'm not sure she relizes it's work. She is lovong this game and it's great for the summer.
