Pretty much, do you love pointless games? If so - this is for you! Sadly, unlike the first one, you feel quickly like they've just thrown the games onto this, and its a very sub-par sequel to the fantastic Brain Age (1).

If one were to get just one Brain Age game, I would highly recommend the first and leave this one sitting on the shelf.

Brain Age 2 keeps you thinking & is fun & relaxing

BRAIN AGE 2 for Nintendo DS is a wonderful game!

It's a lot of fun (and work) in one little package.

It is less of a video-game per se, and more of an intellect-challenging, neuron-firing gamut of puzzles...math problems, word puzzles and other mental challenges.

Designed to stimulate both Left brain and Right brain, you can literally get your fix in just a few minutes a day,. or spend considerably longer with it.

Just want to try it out? Try "Quick Play"...you get right started...no need to fill out any background info. Great for friends and family to try it out.

Want to practice? Go to "Daily Training" where you will find a mix of games to stimulate your thinking...math challenges such as 'Serial Subtraction' (where you constantly subtract a particular number from a sum...you have to know the right answer, plus remember what the last number was) or 'Change Maker' (excellent every-day application...where you receive a total and you have to figure out how much change you should get...get good at this and you'll never get ripped off at the cash register again).

Mathematics not your forte? How about 'Word Scramble' (which is like a word jumble puzzle...figure out what word the letters make) or 'Calendar Count' (what day was 2 days before yesterday? What was the date 4 days ago?). Looking for a bit more? You'll love 'Piano Player'...whether you read music or not, you'll be catching the rhythm in no time!

Additional fun includes the ocassional 'extras' they give to you, such as 'connect the dots' or 'picture drawing'...they're like little extras and they're wonderful! And there's even a mental cool-down game of 'Dr.Mario' (which they call 'Virus Buster').

Oh, and you Sudoku fans won't be disappointed...there's even pages and pages of games for you...at all levels (and with tutorials) so players of all experiences, from novice to advanced, can play!

Personally, I play this every morning as a way to wake up my brain and get started on the day. It really has helped my concentration, and now I am aceing the games that at first, I failed miserably on. Everyone has room for improvement in their lives, all it takes is motivation and stimulation! Try this game and you'll see how fun learning can be!

Easy to use and navigate. I especially enjoy the relaxation segment (Virus Buster). This game is definitely appropriate for the intended reason I purchased a DS. (To enhance my mental abilities!)

I like the game. I liked it because there are so many things to do on this game. It is fun. My son got the Nintendo DS System and the games all seem to be fun. I decided to get one of my own and it was fun. It seemed to know who you were every time you started the game.

It's good. I like the first one a little better. But that's just me. It was worth the money and I enjoy working it like the first Brain Age.

My only complaint is the instructions are a little vague I think. So the first one or two times you play, you're really learning what it wants. Till you get the hang of it.

Also, my Brain Age 1 and 2 for that matter, don't seem to recognize my voice when I speak or my daughters, but it' fine with my husbands' voice, so I don't know if it's a tone thing or what? So I always choose the option not able to speak when playing!
But it's a good game and I recommend buying if you like thinking games like I do!

I have both Brain Age and Braing Age 2 and if I had to choose which one I liked more I would say number 2. It is more challenging and it is so much fun. The games that train you are creative and you actually learn more than you do in B.A.1. I think if you are uncertain about buying this, you should definitely go for it, you won't be disappointed. Have fun and hopefully train your brain!

  Good for honing skills!

I love the different games it gives you in a scattered way, so you can't just play all of them the first day you get it and then be done with it. I love that Sudoku is always available, and that I can train with the games at any time. Your scores are recorded once a day, however, so when you do them for the training part, make sure you've practiced! I did and my scores leapt and I've only had the game for about a week!

It's great for skills that you don't think about using, but you DO use. I've always had problems with mathematics, but the Change Maker game is actually HELPING me work through the issues.

Believe it or not, this game would be great for those summer months when kids are out of school - it'll help them keep at least the bottom line basics so they aren't completely at a loss when school starts again!

--Recommended for older audiences and younger audiences. ( Teens have a tendency to divide and conquer .. and that's not what the game is about! )

Brain Age should be a long term rage

I love this game. I am 40 now, and as a kid I was doing crossword puzzle and logic problems when my friends were reading comic books. Now I can play quality language and math games while my kids are playing Spiderman. I am not up on the newest tech but to use listening and speaking to respond to puzzles in a hand-held video game must be cutting edge?! The premise is that this game provides exercise for your brain. I believe but even if you don't, if you like brain teasers word puzzles math and more this is a fabulous game. It keeps track of 4 players' performance long term and has plenty of quick games for the visitor and friend without messing up your stats. High recommendations.

Lots of fun and a great chance to build my brain power during my free time! I truly enjoy the game. Best yet, it is perfect for anyone in the family. No violence, no profanity, just pure embarashing brain - or lack of - brain power showcased for all the use the game to see. We all truly enjoy it. Game allows you to test yourself on a daily basis - and train yourself for improvement. All in all we all truly enjoy it.

Maybe we will get smarter than our kids! LOL

I like the new activities in BA2 and especially the Suduko puzzles! (over 100)
I like these activities that help the girls in their math, such as making change. I have to admit, my oldest daughter had a little trouble with "word problems" in school, she is an A/B (high B) student, but after using Brain Age 1 and 2, she is doing a lot better.

Our family also has Brain Age 1 and Brain Age Academy. So for my daughter's 11th birthday, I bought her the "bundle pack" that included the Nintendo DS Lite in the new "Crimson" color, case and Brain Age 2. It was a great deal!

I have a 13 year old who first aquired the Brain Age 1 with her "Pink" NDS, last year for Christmas.

I love playing the Brain Age games and "training MY brain". I have to do it while the girls are at school, thats the only time I can use it... LOL I was partial to the first edition, but it got boring after a while and my kids started making fun of me because they were doing better than I was. LOL

I think these games are great for family time, we have two Nintendo DS, so I have to share, but I am seriously thinking about getting my own!

Great to keep an active mind! Fun to compare "Brain Ages" with family members and friends. Very addictive to keep improving your score! I wanted something that would challenge and this is it. I am not one for typical video games.

This is the better of the two Brain Ages. It has fun little activities, including piano player, that help with "prefrontal cortex" functions! If you're going to buy just ONE Brain age, get this one!!!

Not as original as the first Brain Age, but fun nonetheless! Keeps you on your toes - the challenges are harder than the first version! This, I suppose, is the nature of the game! Favorable review, but not as good as the first Brain Age.

Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day (NDS)

Brain Age 2 is a fun game that allows you to keep your mind going. As an adult, I get a lot of enjoyment playing the various mini games that it has. The game also contains Sudoku, which to me has always been very addictive. One of the main reasons why I didn't give it an excellent rating is not all games are open once you start. The more days you play, the more mini games open, so at the beginning there is not a lot of variety. Other than that, it is another great game by Nintendo that all fans will enjoy.

My husband and I fought over #1 so we bought #2 so we could both play. Sudoku is my favorite on this game. Sudoku lets you write tiny numbers as helpers where other games only let you put the answer.
