This is a fantastic movie. This was actually director John Singleton's first movie and it was a great one. The acting was pretty good and the story is very realistic, especially during that time and in that area. Gangs used to get a lot of attention and everyone seemed to think they were cool but this movie showed how dumb they really were. The movie shows how gang violence can affect anyone at any given time. Increase the Peace - See this movie! - Gene
