Connie Francis admits she is NO actress and hated the process. Soundtracks are available from 3 of her 4 movies (Where The Boys Are, did not have enough music to release on Lp format). Also her soundtracks with the exception of "When The Boys Meets The Girls" were not culled from the original movie. MGM decided to record new "pop" soundtracks that would be more marketable. Here is a collection of the original songs from the movies themselves. All rare and features some ultra rare rehearsal tracks with Connie singing with piano only. Many of the songs from these movies are superior to their pop counterparts with some exceptions. Her hit single versions of "Follow The Boys" and the rocking "Looking for Love" outweigh the original material. Her second picture "Follow The Boys" had extra music added to the soundtrack to make a complete LP and had nothing to do with the movie. The booklet explores her rather erratic Hollywood career in detail. This is one of the most interesting CDs by Connie Francis. Thank you Rhino Records. This is hard to find and usually very expensive as it is now out of print. You may not be a fan of her movies but you can never dismiss the music!
