Your character feeds various types of jellybeans to his pet blob in order to transform him into a useful item. The cover art to this title is done in Indiana Jones styling, but don't let that fool you, the history professor would not have played this game. It is worth playing through once, though (if you can make it).

This game is stupid yet fun. you are this boy who has this blob and you have to transform him into objects to collect coins. You feed this blob jelly beans. The downfall to this game is the boy is hadicapped and can not jump! The Blob is Stupid and gets stuck. overall it is a pretty fun game :)

  NES Boy and his Blob

My kids and I really liked playing this game. it was fun to see the little blob change into different things with every jellybean. The game was a bit hard. Hard to maneuver in certain areas and not enough lives given to start with. The graphics are good considering how old the game is. My kids love playing it!

  More Classic Fun
Review created: 11/04/08

For a game that on the surface appears deceptively simple, trying to decide how using a number of different jellybeans to mutate your Blob companion in order to help you collect treasure is quite difficult. Although the game does not have much replay value, just getting through the game once (WITHOUT using a walkthrough) is a great way to kill an afternoon..or afternoons. If you're anything of an NES fan, this game is a must to add to your collection. It's made by Pitfall designer David Crane, need I say more?

  Cult Classic

If you are looking for a game that is extremely quirky and easy to pick up and play, buy this game! This is a classic game by the mind that developed Pitfall, David Crane. There is no other game like this. This is a no brainer buy for any NES gamer. I wish more developers were like this. There's only a handful of them who developed these quirky and replayable games, Itoi and Tim Schafer to name a couple. This game is certainly fun for all ages, so I don't know why you haven't thought of buying it sooner...

This video game was bought for my husband who loves this. It is a blast from the past. Since he has not played it for years it deemed hard at first.
