This is a really great book because it gives the reader a psychiatrist's point of view on patients. Particularly children. I have worked with children for 8 years and hope to become a counselor someday to families and children, so this was a great book to kind of get my feet wet; to see if I really enjoy reading/listening to children and their struggles.

Case histories basicallyThe book was very good . Its case studies about child who were abused or witnessed horrible things and how he helped them.Its heartbreaking. But still a good book. I would recommend it if you like books about disturbed children.
