Quick, easy, and fun read!

This was my first Meg Cabot read, author of The Princess Diaries.
I was not expecting the format: pieces of correspondence from e-mail, IM, memos, transcripts, journals, phone messages, receipts, menus, and meeting minutes. It was so fun though and I just kept turning page after page.
Kate is our heroine and just broke up with her soon-to-be major rockstar boyfriend, Dale. Dale and Kate have been together since 11th grade and moved to NYC from Kentucky together.
Kate is a human resources gal with an atrocious boss, the T.O.D (Tyrannical Office Despot) who is engaged to an equally atrocious attorney, Stuart. Only Stuart has a total hottie for a brother and when Kate finds herself in a lawsuit, the hottie brother is the one to represent her.
Kate also has an awesome best friend, Jen, with whom she lives (well, crashes on her couch).
It really is a great read. I highly recommend it.
