The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum (1989, Paperback, Reissue)

This book will get your heart pounding fast. When i started reading this book, it was kinda boring at first, but once you get into it a few pages, you start understanding Bourne's situation and that he has to rescue Marie before it's too late. Bourne starts going after the contacts one by one and start finding information from them slowly. As the story moves on, Bourne is faced with problems and has to deal with them immediately. Throughout the chapters, you will sometimes feel Bourne's feelings and actions from Marie and from the government. Don't miss out on reading this book. It's a very interesting book if you put your mind to it.

As with the first book and movie this is a continuation or the Jason Bourne Saga. Both the movie and the book are as good as the first installment. Again the book is more detailed that the movie for obvious reasons, but the story line is not lost in the movie comparing it to the book. I bought both to be able to continue the Jason Bourne Saga and to try and find out his true identity.

I'm really enjoying the book, but if you're expecting it to mirror the movie... it doesn't. It's like having a whole different Bourne story to read, which is cool by me. I actually think the book would make a pretty good movie.

The book was in great condition for a used book. However, I was very disappointed in the packaging choice. I bought another book from this seller. Both books were rapped together in newspaper and no regard for safeguarding the shipment.

I loved the first in this series and the second does an excellent job of expanding on the characters introduced in the first book. A great twisting tale that follows Bourne back into the world he desperately wanted to escape.

The novels are nothing like the movies but I think both have excellent stories and are worth reading/watching if you like spy/assasin stories.
