Bottle Rocket (DVD, 1998, Closed Captioned; Subtitled Spanish)

This is the 1st movie that Owen and Luke Wilson are in and some people dont know because he has not become as popular as them 2, is there older brother. Andrew Wilson plays the charactor Future Man. I thought that it was ok at first but when i looked into it. It was written by Owen Wilson and Wes Anderson and Owen was only 25 or 26 during the filming of this movie. It was a college short film that turned into this movie. So In 1998 when this came out on DVD it was already 2years after it was in the Theaters and it began filming in 1993 or 1994. So the point i am making is for his first film back then as a project just shows that Owen and Luke are talented actors and this is just that kinda film that will make you laugh. Funny, Funny, Funny, Funny, !!!!

This was a little over $8.00 for a BRAND NEW copy of Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket and let me tell you I am impressed! There's NO WHERE on earth you can beat a deal like that! Thank you for an excellent deal and SUPER FAST shipping!

My favorite Wes Anderson movie to day. You have to LOVE the characters. Unbelievable one liners as well has huge bouts of hilarious dialogue. Original plot and setting. Excellent film.

Such a great movie. Smart and funny storyline. Wonderful acting performances from brothers Luke & Owen Wilson. The colors and cinematography of the movie are brilliant. Definitely worth watching & you should check out other Wes Anderson films as well.

This film is probably starting to make its way to mainstream with the commercial success of the Wilson brothers, Luke and Owen.
This film is perhaps one of the best independent films I have ever seen. Owen Wilson and Wes Anderson (who co-wrote with Owen W. and directed the film) paired on several films of less-than-popular stature. All of them are quirky at worst and extremely entertaining at best.
This film in particular was a showcase of how good writing can make up for subpar acting. The actors in this movie were not great, but the story, the words, they were fantastic.
I am not a huge fan of big hollywood type films, so I have lost interest in most of the films of the Wilson brothers, but this one shows brilliance when they were unknown.
A very intelligent, funny film. It is not a slapstick comedy, so don't rent it if you are expecting "Tommy Boy" or "Happy Gilmore", but if you like quirky comedies in the vein of "Waiting for Guffman", "Drop Dead Gorgeous", or "Rushmore", then this is a perfect fit; buy it.
