A Great 70s Band that took a long time making albums. This and the next album were basically their main material, until several years later, and after the repair of much reel to reel recording tape and magic solvent ... voila ... a great third album.
More Than A Feeling was basically the big seller for this album.

I remember when the Boston album was released (no CD's back then) and how much I liked the title track. Never bought the album/8 Track or Cassette until this recent CD purchase. What I was surprised with was that I knew every track. A great CD especially if you're middle aged, soon to be elderly, like myself. Songs from this first Boston endeavor are still getting air play.

Years ago as a snaggle-toothed teenager, this album was a must-have on any hip teen's turntable. Twenty-five years later, it remains the definitive Boston offering, far superior to any collection of greatest hits. The innovative sounds of dueling guitars, hard-driving rhythms and clear vocals rings as true today as it did in pre-Reagan America.

This is easily in my top 10 best (entire) albums from the 1970's. If your a rock music fan then you probably have owned this in one form or another over the years since its original release in 1976. I have had it on vinyl, cassette and now cd (twice due to a theft of my cd's from my car a while back). This is one of the most melodic, graceful and flowing albums ever made. I remember when I was a kid and this was released, just how shocked I was at the sound quality and clarity of this music. It was like nothing else at that time. On the strength of awesome guitar work, outstanding lyrics and the fact that this music was so different than everything else, the band broke out and rose to fame. After more than 3 decades I still feel the same way about this debut release, and I still find time to listen to it on a regular basis.

The Boston CD arrived in pristine condition. Got exactly what we were looking for. Old songs bring back old memories.

This is by far the best cd Boston has ever made. If you look at the track list of their Greatest Hits album, you will see that most of the songs are from this album. It is great from beginning to end. If CD's wore out from play then I would be on my 3rd or 4th copy of this cd by now.

You simply can't go wrong with this Boston album. This is Classic Rock at its best and in its prime. Every song on the album is a hit. This is GUARANTEED to take you back to some real good memories. I like all 8 songs on the disc. You just pop it in the CD player and let the whole thing go. There are no bad songs on the disc. A MUST OWN for any classic rock fan! Enjoy!

This album was released in 1976, not 1986. I am 42 years old and was around when this classic came out.

I love this album! It carries a lot of memories of being younger:), when Rock was Rock! No subtitles existed then. I decided to readd this to my collection as I have owned the albun in vinyl, cassette, and cd previously, and through loaning out, moving and it getting added to garage sales without my knowledge, I was missing it. I think Foreplay/Longtime is the highlight of the album. Hardcore guitars and vocals make it one of my all time favorites. And finding the original album still in tact, is a plus. Buy it now before it's broken up into greatest hits and you won't find the original tracks.

classic rock and roll from the late seventies. great tunes like more than a feeling,peace of mind,rock and roll band. nice to be able to listen to this without the tape hiss or scratches static on an album.

this would make a great stocking stuffer for christmas.

I never liked Boston growing up. As my knowledge of music grew with age I realized just how incredible this album is. I think I remember reading it was recorded in the guitar players basement using a mobile unit. Which blows my mind because it's such an awesome sounding record. After listening to this it leaves me with more than a feeling!

This cd is excellent, it is of high quality recording. You get some of the best songs Boston offers.

22 yrs. ago I put this album on,and proceded to have the night of a lifetime with a great girl.She just found me after all these yrs.,and I just had to get this CD again just to bring back all those fantastic memorys of that 1 night we had together so long ago...OH YA!!Boston has a fantastic place in my heart.Unfortunitly,that realy went right along with all the lyricks of the songs,but the one line that stands out most was(I dream of a girl,I used to know,I close my eyes,and she sliped away!!!)Couldn't be closer to what ended up realy happening.Love these songs,Great memorys!!!From both of our veiwpionts- It just couldn't get any better than that!!!!!!!!!!!

I decided to buy this item because it was a great price!! I love ebay. This item was a gift for my father for christmas, I was hoping to get a few oldies for him. This was the best place to do so.

Original recorded album from the late 70s. I have a collective CD of their best songs, but some of my favorite were not on it. Had to get this one to get "Hitch a Ride" and "Something About You". Probably Boston's best recorded album in my opinion.

I purchased this CD as I realized that my old CD came up missing in our move. I am very happy with this CD, not to mention that it is one of my favorites. The sound is absolutely wonderful! It is such a pleasure to listen to this music as it brings back many happy memories. I would highly recommend this CD, it is a pleasure.I will add that the CD was very fresh and neat. Also, wrapped tightly. I really can't say enough positive things about it.

This is one of the greatest albums/cds/cassettes of all time. Very few cd's have songs that are ALL good, but this one does. And the sound is awsome. If you like old rock n roll then this is the cd for you. Relieve the years gone by with the sweet sounds of Boston. This is a must have for everyone's rock collection. I remember rocking on a road trip with Boston blasting in 1978... on 8 track! Now the music will never wear out. I've listen to it over and over again already.
