Product Information
Small wonder. The RC420 system, amazingly, features all of the impressive technology found in the larger Boston Rally component systems, yet still fits in standard 4-inch cutouts. Technology that comes with incredibly sophisticated-sounding names like Kortec tweeters (Kortec is Bostons own cloth/resin composite tweeter dome material that isstrangelysmooth and stiff at the same time). With neodymium magnets (neodymium is far stronger than ordinary ferrite magnets, so Boston can use less, make the tweeters incredibly small and you can install them virtually anywhere). The woofers also feature copolymer cones and butyl rubber surrounds (two materials that practically scoff at heat, humidity and freezing temperatures). And despite the fact Bostons RCX crossovers dont have an incredibly sophisticated-sounding name, they are no less amazing because they precisely allocate the specific frequencies fed to their companion drivers, for a custom-tailored sound.
