I watched this movie when I was a very tiny child. It was so cute and I had seen it a couple of time during my lifetime, so when I saw it on Turner Classics, I thought I would try to order it. I did and it's a classic for sure.

Everyone You See it!It's such a pity that now a days very few people don't old movies like this. Judy Holiday delivers the perfomance of a lifetime and with George cukor direction she won a well deserved oscar. William Holden as great as holiday this movie is hysterical and worth not only watching it but buying it too. this movie contains everything romance, mystery too many things to mention but everything to make the perfect movie and Born Yesterday it is a perfect movie.

A romantic "Cinderella" story set in post-WWII politics. Very "Broadway play" quality. Gin Rummy scene is a classic! Fascinating to compare it with the later version. Judy Holliday at her best.
