Eve and Rourke do it again!

Normally, I buy these in paperback; just haven't been able to bring myself to pay the money for hardcover. Well, my b-day was 11/7, and that's when it came out, so I figured it was a sign that I should get it!
Both Eve and Rourke are stretched physically, mentally and emotionally while Eve works to solve a double homicide, and then her friend Mavis asks her to look into a pregnant friend that has gone missing.
It's much more of the world of Eve and Rourke, and this time having them deal with Mavis and the impending birth of her baby (happens in this book!!). I'm so glad I bought this book - I pretty much haven't put it down since I got it; well, except to eat/sleep/potty/etc.
I stumbled into this series a few years ago, and was absolutely THRILLED when I learned that it's an ongoing series - I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to "check back in" on Eve and Rourke, and how they are still discovering things about themselves and each other.
This is an excellent read, has good twists and feeling, and definitely a MUST if you are a JD Robb/Nora Roberts fan!
