Boris Karloff and Vincent Price combine their talent for the macabre in this collection of three B-horror television and film gems.


THE VEIL: Horror film legend Boris Karloff hosts this television horror anthology series which dates back to 1958. Made in the golden years of television and filled with suspense, this collection is a treat for fans of Karloff, who also stars in several episodes.


THE TERROR: Karloff and a young Jack Nicholson team up in this disjointed but enjoyable Roger Corman quickie. Nicholson plays Lieutenant Andre Duvalier, an officer under Napoleon who finds himself lost along a stretch of beach, where he is seduced by the beautiful Helene (Sandra Knight), who may or may not be a ghost. His obsession leads him to the gloomy castle of Baron Von Leppe (Karloff), a recluse haunted by the ghost of his dead wife, Ilse, who Andre suspects is actually Helene, or vice versa.


THE BAT: Based on the Gothic novel by Mary Roberts Rinehart, this haunted house mystery casts Agnes Moorehead as a mystery writer who has just moved into a spooky old mansion. It's former owner was recently killed, but not before hiding one million ill-gotten dollars somewhere in the house. Now, a nefarious killer known only as the "Bat" is trying to find the money, while bodies and mysteries build up in this strange old house.
