An underrated performer...
This album has to be the most underrated effort by one of the most underrated performers around. I had the original LP for years and wanted the CD. This IS the first all digital recording by a major record label, and the significance of this fact cannot be understated. I started to learn more about Mr. Cooder, like that he was a featured musician on the classic Rolling Stones album Let It Bleed. I really enjoy a number of the songs, like The Very Thing That Makes Her Rich (Makes You Poor), Down In Hollywood and Good Thing with Chaka Khan. Overall, this is a fun album to kick back and enjoy. Rock on, Ry!!!
