Movie Description
These two memorable Westerns salute one of Hollywood's greatest cowboy heroes, Gene Autry. In the action-filled BOOTS AND SADDLES, Autry finds himself in a rut as rival horse dealer (Ronald Sinclair, under the name Ra Hould) tries to put an end to Gene's horse trading business. Complicating matters, he becomes romantically involved with the daughter of an army colonel. In RIDERS OF THE WHISTLING PINES, an insect plague ravages the forest. Evil loggers who plan on harvesting protected land murder a forest ranger and frame Autry for the crime. They spray the forest to kill the insects, and wind up killing much of the wildlife. Autry must step in and utilize his patented brand of cowboy justice.
