This is my favorite collection of poems (I have quite a few). Milosz, a fine poet himself, opens each presented piece with a paragraph to create a context, which is fantastic. The poems are grouped by topic, and entirely accessible. They are great to start the day on tender note. I also buy this collection as gifts for my friends.
It is a book suitable for the seasoned poetry lover as well as the beginner wanting to enter this field of wonders.
