This seventh in the series explains more about the personalities and problems of the two brothers. It is action packed (as usual) and a very satisfying read.

The Book of the Dead is thumbs up
Review created: 07/04/09

If you read Brimstone and Dance of Death, then you'll love The Book of the Dead. The book is in good condition and I finished reading it. The action is a bit slower than Brimstone but soon picks up. I would recommend this book as well as the other Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child books.

Preston&Child end the Pendergast and trilogy with this intersanctum. The museum again is the home of gore and frightening occurences. A mummy on the loose? Someone dying working on an eygptian exihibit, and creepy dark corners.
Nora Kelly and her husband Bill are faced with the horror's of another mystery.
And not to forget the mysterious brother of Pendergast Diogenes up to his old tricks. Don't miss this thriller if you want to curl up and be chilled along with nightmares!!
