Book of Babes: Bare Wench 2 (DVD, 2001)

i bought the bare wench #1 and enjoyed it very much. 4 hot babes with well endowed boobs, bearing the fun bags throughout the film. on the other hand, bare wench #2 is lame and lacking in the nudity part, not even sure if theres a single scene with boobs exposed. so #1 provides many jerk off sessions, whereas #2 doesnt even do the job.

I decided to buy this on dvd because I had seen it once before, but it was a few years ago, and I wanted to see it again. It is an entertaining movie that is a sequel to the Bare Wench, and has new girls that are trying to find the girls from the first movie and who have been missing for one year. Nikki Fritz plays Nikki the sister of Nikki from the first movie. Whoever came up with the name for Fritz's 2 characters did not use much imagination, and at times you couldn't tell which Nikki they were talking about. There were times when I wanted to say "Would the real Nikki please stand up". There is only one "erotic" scene in the whole movie which Arban Ornelas, Nikki Fritz, and Julie Strain take part in. The music is nice, and the scene before the 3-way is wierd because of what Strain's character does to try to look sexy. There is a later scene which is more comical than erotic in which the 6 girls take a Chocolate bath. Then later they make references towards Ghostbusters which are kinda stupid and not that funny. The reason why I bought this movie was to see Nikki Fritz, Arban Ornelas, Juliet Cariaga, and Samantha Phillips. Those 4 are my favorite in the movie, and I am dissapointed that Samantha doesn't show her nice body as much as the other girls do. Lenny Juliano returns to make all of the girls angry at him, and I kind of feel sorry for him at times but he has it coming, and it would have been a better movie had he not been in it and had it been just the girls. This is an entertaining movie, but its not as good as the first movie. The first movie had better acting from the cast, and it had a better "erotic" scene that featured Nikki Fritz, Julie K. Smith, and Julie Strain with much better music playing during the scene. In the first movie Julie Strain didn't have to do much to be sexy as she did in the second movie, and nothing she did was really wierd. So the things that I liked about the Bare Wench 2 was Arban Ornelas, Julie Strain, Samantha Phillips, and Nikki Fritz from the cast. I liked the chocolate scene even though it was kinda funny, and the scene with Fritz, Ornelas, and Strain even though it was kind of wierd. I also liked the camp fire scene before the 3-way scene. The things I did not like was how they ended the movie which was pretty stupid, and in no way of the supernatural as the first movie ended. I also didn't like the reference to I know what you did last summer because it had nothing to do with the story, and it didn't make any difference during the movie. It was pointless, and I personally wish they never had put it in the movie. So I recomend this movie only to those that want to see Arban Ornelas, Nikki Fritz Juliet Cariaga, Samantha Phillips, Julie Strian, Griffin Drew, and Alexus Winston show off their nice bodies, and want to see the sequel to Bare Wench 1.

I thought I had an idea what to expect from this film. Even putting aside the fact that Netflix has inappropriately listed this film as a Horror movie, I knew it would be cheap and schlocky and amateurish and puerile. I was okay with that. Nobody watches/rents/buys these films without the purpose of seeing beautiful women naked and frisky with each other. No other production values matter in this regard. Yet, this movie still disappoints. I didn't care that the acting fell somewhere between poor and none. I didn't mind that they seemed to be shooting this film without a script or any sort of rehearsing ahead of time... or any sort of preparation for that matter.

What makes this movie most disappointing is that it would have only taken a few minor changes to make BIG improvements. The biggest problem is the completely pointless and inveterately irritating presence of Lenny Juliano: a fat, dopey, whiney, douchebag who brings absolutely nothing worthwhile or useful to this film. He isn't at all funny, and this worthless sack of crap threatens to interfere with the only merit this film has otherwise, which is gratuitous nudity and physical interaction between the female principles. Get rid of this jerk-off, and the difference is significant.

But even the amorous interaction between the "actresses" really came off more as a multi-dancer routine from a strip club (a lot of tease-touching and uninspired slow-grinding). Given that these are women who have done some fairly unambiguous and explicit work in other films does give one pause to wonder why this one was so tame and lethargic, especially since the film had nothing else going for it. Forget the dialogue and acting and plot (assuming there was any to begin with). Just concentrate on the one and only reason anyone would want to watch this film.

Unfortunately, this film just wasn't very good, even by the remarkably meager standards it was measured by. So why 2 stars instead of just one? The nudity was Great.
