The Book...An easy to read alternative to the Bible

If the language of the Old Testament gets a bit confusing, The Book is a wonderful alternative. It is accepted by most Christian Ministers and Pastors as an accurate alternative to The Bible. I study this one along with my NIV "The Message" Bible, and get a great understanding of the lessons this way. I would definitely recommend this to all who need a "simpler" version of The Bible to read, or who want to study the different versions for wonderful lessons. This would be a great "Starter Bible" for young children and teens, as well as adults who just can't grasp the language in the Testament. A wonderful piece to add to anyones collection.
