BOOGER - Best Genesis Game Ever Made

I bought Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure when the Sega Genesis Game was just begining to leave the market and for that reason, this game never received the fame it should have.

The graphics and colors of this game are excellent, perhaps one of the best graphics game ever made for the Genesis.

The game is fast, fun, and unusual.

This game really does not have an equal on any of the other games systems that I know of as far as wierd fun. The object of this game is to BELCH & FART to kill the enemy. In some ways the game is like Super Mario because you walk your characted along a path with creatures along the way trying to stop you. At the same time it is nothing like Super Mario, since Booger's (the key character) adventure takes place in green swamp and hill like areas with lots of trees, and the tunnels are sewers.

When Booger eats a Chili-Pepper he gains super Belching and farting abilities. There is also a Red Cape that he can pick up that allows him to fly inside of the game for a short period of time.

It is really a game you have to see to really get an idea of what it look likes.

If the idea of belching and farting to kill enemies sounds funny, then your going to love this game.

When I bought the game, it was as a present for my mother (serious) because she has a goofy sense of humor. It turned out to be the best game I ever played on the Sega Genesis and remains on my top favorite games for any game system released since.

The feel of the game is intense fun, addicting, has game save points upon the completion of each level. Booger (the main character) looks a little like the father from the movie The Incredibles.

It's a must have for any serious Sega Genesis fan.
Personally I am a little surprised to see it selling on e-bay for under $10.00.

From the old days, and one of the first games to ever achieve a Mature rating, for boogers, burps, and farts... really? We've come a long way people, but this is definitely a game worth checking out.

Boogerman: A pick and flick adventure- Genesis

Ahh... The very distant glory days of SEGA. I vividly remember the additude and the hype of this very well built 16-bit console. It had some of the best games known to mankind as well. But this is'nt a review of the Genesis, its of one of the most well-made games of all time, Boogerman. This game has some of the best playability that I have ever seen in any game. The colors and graphics are so vibrant and noticeable on the Genesis. I remember renting this game as a kid and constantly playing it until I had to return it. A very good buy if you asked me. Its finally time for me to revisit those days and enjoy the time that I have had in the 90's once more. FOR GOOD. Overall: Great game, well thought out, and it does not lack a storyline as many games back then did.

Was a good gift for a friend

I personally didn't play it, but the friend I bought it for is very satisfied with it, so I'll guess that its an excellent game. Hey, for less than 10 bucks, a genesis game that isn't made anymore is a pretty good deal.

Bought this game for a friend and they have spent countless hours reliving their childhood. I wish the games were this cheap when I was a kid.

Boogerman. Grossness and grace sometimes go hand in hand...

Pros:
Seedy, atmospheric graphics and sound; excellent level design; many techniques; delirious humor.

Cons:
A little easy.

Superhero extraordinaire Boogerman was originally slated for an illustrious career. This janitor by day/caped crusader by night was featured in countless adds in mid-to-late 1994. In fact, there were plans for a cartoon series, and a sequel for the next generation systems was reportedly in the works. Interplay's Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure was released for the Sega Genesis in November 1994 to only decent reviews, and all future plans for the character were scrapped (a Super NES version was released in the spring of 1995). The game admittedly faced stiff competition: other late-1994,.
