This is a primer on how to cut roots and arrange branches to create a bonsai tree. Masterfully written. I will treasure this in my bonsai book collection.
Do you remember in The Karate Kid, Mr. Miyagi climbed the face of a mountain to reach a small tree to start a bonsai? You can find the tree and then use this book as a guide to trim its roots.
But I recommend trying some inexpensive trees to practice before you begin climbing mountain ledges. Pay an experienced rock climber to get it for you! You will find everything you need to know in Bonsai by Kyuzo Murata and Isamu Murata. High marks all the way around for this book.
