I bought Bonfire [Box] by AC/DC as an anniversary gift for my husband. The item was brand new and still in the wrapping. My husband loves the collection. I have seldom had trouble making purchases on e-bay. As long as that continues to be the case I will be a steady customer.

I have bought it a CD because I like this music. I like this music and when I have seen this music on CD - I have bought it is the price of me arranged!

A quasi tre anni da "Ballbreaker" è uscito il tanto atteso cofanetto commemorativo degli AC/DC, la migliore rock band australiana della storia.
Nel mondo della musica i pretesti per pubblicare qualcosa non mancano mai, specialmente se la carriera dell’artista in questione è in stasi (o si è già conclusa); ma questa, a nostro avviso, è una motivazione decente: il pacchetto (tre CD, di cui uno doppio, un ottimo booklet, un poster, un adesivo e un ciondolo apribottiglie con il logo della band, imperdibile), infatti, è dedicato a Bon Scott, scozzese di ferro e anima del gruppo fino al 1980, anno della sua prematura scomparsa.
Bon Scott riuscì, con la sua personalità esplosiva e con la sua irrefrenabile energia, a tirare fuori dagli altri ragazzi (i fratelli Young, Angus e Malcolm, alle chitarre solista e ritmica; Cliff Williams al basso; Phil Rudd alla batteria) passione, grinta e originalità - doti senza le quali il solo talento non fa molta strada. A posteriori, nonostante Angus Young abbia marchiato con la sua chitarra e la sua "icona" il destino della formazione, è difficile pensare che gli AC/DC sarebbero diventati quello che diventarono senza la voce e le gesta di Scott, un autentico "testimonial" del rock anni Settanta - live fast, die young. L’opera omnia dell’era Scott, coerentemente, ripercorre con i dischi sotto indicati metà della carriera degli AC/DC, quella che va dal 1976 (il debutto esplosivo di "High Voltage") al 1979, anno del disco dal profetico titolo di "Highway to hell". Da "Back in black" (1980) Brian Johnson (indicato ai colleghi proprio da Scott prima che morisse: lo aveva sentito cantare a Londra) lo avrebbe sostituito al microfono, apparentemente per quello che era inteso come disco di commiato, effettivamente per lanciare la band nell’orbita della popolarità mondiale; e, ironicamente per Scott, sarebbe stato questo il capolavoro del gruppo.
Un cofanetto è una traccia storica e questo è, in modo particolare, materia per fans. Non solo per il corredo a base di gadget, quanto perché recupera episodi e registrazioni alternative di materiale per lo più noto. E’ senza dubbio degno di nota, ma è molto più significativo per chi già conosce bene gli AC/DC che non per chi vi si accostasse per la prima volta. Storicamente, i momenti migliori sono raccolti nella seconda parte del doppio CD, dove troviamo "The Jack", "Highway to Hell" e "T.N.T."; e, sempre storicamente, anche il booklet offre molti episodi gustosi. E ci piace concludere con uno di questi, che riporta l’opinione di Bon sulla (allora rigogliosa) discomusic:"Non riesco nemmeno a pronunciare la parola, è troppo presto per rovinarsi la giornata"

As an old avid AC/DC fan...This is a Good collection, but I wouldn't go as far as say Great ....Lacks some material of early tracks that were only obtainable on imports....Could've dropped Back in Black and put earlier tracks on instead

A great retrospect of the late great Bon Scott. It includes the full version of 'let there be rock'.

This is a great collection for any AC/DC fan. Raw pure metal. A sound that truley tran sends generations.

Great set if you like Bon Scott! Mostly live music. They should have put a couple of Brian Johnson's songs so you can compare the different styles. This album is typical AC/DC music, and it is a must for your collection.

The price was great, the communication and the shipping time, too.

Everything like expected. It was bought from a foreigner country and i spent less than if i have bought from Brazil.
