Pilot left me thinking this was going to be jokey and romantic and not at all about forensics but about off the wall personalities and maverick scientists. However a few episodes in the story beds down as you get to know the anxieties and hopes of the main players. The stories get increasingly complex and gory, something you can really get your teeth into. As soon as I finished series one I bought series two, I was hooked!
