Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (VHS, 1996)

I grew up in the 80's when Peanuts were in their prime. If you are about my age, 33, you may remember some nights, usually Friday nights, when their specials used to come on (long before cable tv) & we would all be glued to the television set to watch the half hour cartoon, Charlie Brown & The Peanuts Gang. I have fond memories of those nights. Fast forward 20 years & now i am a mom of 2 young children & i say Hey! Hold up a minute! As a young child you do not realize what really goes on in these cartoons. What was on Charles Shultz' mind anyway??? lol. He must have ha da bad childhood or something God rest his soul. My 3 year old started calling me a "bucklehead" after watching Charlie Browns Bon Voyage cartoon; the Peanut Gang uses the word knucklehead about 1,000 times per cartoon & she also says creep (Peppermint Patty's favorite word in the show) & well i could go on but i do hate to be a Charlie Brown basher! I LOVE THE PEANUTS GANG, I DO, I REALLY DO! I hate to have to be the one to tell you this but iot just may not be for very young children. I know i don't want my kids saying those things that i have heard. I still give the cartoon a rating of 5 out of 5 because i am a true Charlie Brown fan but i just had to warn you just incase you are not too familiar. Sorry Charlie!

I loved the quality of the movie,picture was still clear and tape worked well. I bought for my husband who loves Charlie Brown and that episode was very hard to find else where.
