Movie Description
Two young people fall in love, but their love is complicated by the fact that they are from different religions -- a familiar story that can be translated to so many cultures which is why it resonates as such a universal theme. In the case of the musical BOMBAY, a Muslim girl falls in love with a Hindu boy, and they must overcome the barriers that society has set up, while Muslim/Hindu riots in the streets of Bombay play out in the background.
